What happens when you finish

There’s a moment at the end of every challenge where it suddenly feels real. It doesn’t matter whether you ran the whole distance in one go… Split it over a few weeks… Walked most of it… Or squeezed miles in whenever life gave you the chance. Eventually, you hit the number. You’ve finished.
The Final Stretch always feels different. You know the finish is close, and suddenly that challenge you signed up for weeks earlier is right there in front of you. For some people it’s a long run. For others it’s one final evening walk after work. But when the app ticks over and the distance is complete, that feeling hits hard. Not because someone handed it to you. Because you actually did it. Your Way.
One of the biggest things we wanted with Walk Run Wrestle was to remove the pressure people normally feel around fitness challenges. You don’t have to do it in one go. You don’t have to hit a certain pace. You don’t need to be an experienced runner. Some people complete a 10K over a weekend. Some chip away at it over a month. Some walk the entire thing. And honestly? That’s exactly how we want it. Because finishing something your own way is still finishing.
When you start your challenge, you use the WRW web app to log your distance and track your progress. As you move through the challenge, milestone collectable cards unlock along the way. It gives you that little extra push when you’re building towards the finish. We kept the app simple on purpose. No accounts. No complicated setup. Just a cool way to log miles and see yourself getting closer to the finish. And when you finally complete the distance, the app lets you submit your proof directly to us. You just send over proof from whatever tracking app you already use — Strava, Garmin, Fitbit, your watch, your phone… whatever works for you. We’re not interested in judging pace or trying to catch people out. The whole point is completing the challenge honestly and enjoying the process. That’s it.
Once you’ve submitted your proof, the medal is yours. All medals are packed and shipped by us, and we currently send orders out every Friday as long as proofs are received before Thursday. That means there’s usually a little anticipation building after you finish. And weirdly… that’s part of what makes it feel special.
When The Medal Arrives, it feels different to opening something you randomly ordered online. Because this actually means something. You pick the medal up and instantly remember what went into it. The early mornings. The walks you nearly skipped. The runs where you couldn’t really be bothered. The days you still showed up anyway. That’s why earned medals always feel heavier than bought ones. Not physically. Mentally. More Than Just A Medal Anyone can buy something nice. Not everyone commits to finishing a challenge.
That’s the difference for us. These medals aren’t supposed to just sit in a drawer looking pretty. They’re reminders that you finished something you started. And once you complete one challenge, something shifts mentally. Because suddenly the distance that once sounded intimidating? Now you know you can do it. That’s usually the point where people start looking at the next challenge. And honestly? We love seeing that happen. Come join us in the locker room?? Your run, your way.
